Reclaimed pine, with its scars, and shakes, has more character than new pine. Because the wood has been newly machined it might appear lighter in colour than you expect. When exposed to light however, it will darken quickly.

All of the timber used in our doors is supplied, sanded, ready for your customer to apply their own choice of oil, paint or varnish. We recommend that doors be thoroughly treated and protected before being hung.

Our doors are made by skilled craftsmen following the traditional methods of construction used during Victorian times. Frames are fully mortised, tenoned and dowelled with floating 9mm thick wooden in-fill panels (allowing for any expansion/contraction of the timber).
